Marcus Lo is the CEO of Venturpoint, an international management consulting firm helping biomedical engineering firms scale operations, drive growth, and achieve strategic clarity. An Asian-American entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist, Marcus is known for his sharp acumen in customer acquisition, revenue generation, and operational efficiency.

His entrepreneurial journey began in 2015 at his father’s dermatology clinic in Monterey, California, where he implemented modern systems to streamline operations—doubling productivity in less than two years. Driven by a passion for business transformation, Marcus founded Venturway in 2017—an international management consulting firm dedicated to supporting high-value businesses and high-net-worth estates. What began as a solo consultancy grew into a global firm operating in the U.S., South Korea, and the UAE within four years.

Marcus earned both a Master’s in Finance and a Bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of Southern California (USC), graduating in four years on a full scholarship. His most notable professional achievement came in 2021, when he received top honors at the 9th Annual Boeing Business Case Competition, where he presented groundbreaking strategies to enhance Boeing’s global market presence.

Marcus is also the author of the bestselling book, “How to Hack College: Cut Costs in Half & Build a Foundation for Lifelong Success”—a practical guide for students and families looking to maximize the value of a college education while minimizing debt. The book outlines proven methods for accelerating academic success, financial literacy, and early career development, and has become a resource for educators, students, and policy leaders alike.

A passionate advocate for youth and education, Marcus mentors students from underserved communities, particularly orphans and at-risk youth, offering guidance in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and life planning. His commitment to impact extends beyond boardrooms and business deals—he believes deeply in leveling the playing field for the next generation of leaders.

Outside of work, Marcus is a global traveler and actively trains in MMA. He is currently based in Los Angeles and originally came from Pebble Beach, California.
